242. Sterling Silver "Eight Day" Travel Clock
Made in Switzerland, this Cowell and Hubbard silver clock has decorative movement and marked "Swiss" and "Switzerland 32, 3393433". Rests in purple velvet lined leather case with strap, Monogrammed "S McK" sterling silver cover with opening. Large Roman numerals on white enameled face. Clock approx. 4" deep, not including winding mechanism. Overall approx size with case 7" x 5-3/4" x 2-1/2".

243. Art Nouveau Style Tray, C. 1900
Whimsical Art Nouveau handled tray, decorated in relief of berries and foliage. The handle is a long-haired beauty with open work at tray. Four ball feet on verso and stamped "WMF EP AS 191", apprx size 4" high x 12" wide x 6" deep.
WMF, Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik, was one of the principal German producers of Art Nouveau silver & silver-plated objects during the early 20th century.

Full English hallmarks on a half moon dish and half moon container with two stoppers. Hallmarks include: "JB", bare leopard head, lion passant and d. Possibly made by James Beebe. Dish apprx 6-1/4" x 2-7/8" with one foot. Stoppered well apprx 3" x 4-1/2".
