"Seated Woman", pastel on "Ingres" watermarked paper, signed lower center margin, framed, approx. image size 18" x 21", overall approx. size 29-1/4" x 32". Purchased in a Paris gallery. Buisseret was a painter of portraits, nudes and still lifes, as well as a draughtsman and engraver. He traveled extensively to Italy, France, Germany and Austria. Buisseret was also a founding member of the group Nervia (c.1928) with A. Carte and L Devos.
