"Young Artists". Oil in canvas, framed, canvas size apprx 27-1/2" x 35-1/2". Signed lower right and dated 1896. Name plate affixed to frame. Harry Brooker exhibited at the Royal Academy and The Society of British Artists. He is known for his Victorian interiors of children at play and throughout the years the same children are depicted growing up on canvas. This work was completed when Brooker was forty-eight years old.
