"Smoking Man", oil on canvas, adheard to board, image size apprx 4-1/2" x 3-1/2", overall with ornate metal leaf frame, apprx 16" x 11-1/2". Signed upper right, a view of a man, possibly a Gypsy, with a cigarette, from a lower vantage point. Originally attributed to an American artist, it is now considered to be a European painting, c.1900-10. The artist plaque reads "L. Pilchner", however there is not much known about the artist in question.
