327. A Brass Samovar
The highly stylized early 20th Century brass samovar is stamped with scrolling ferns and crossed bands as well as mihrab shapes and flowers. Two handles with wood on the sides and along the stack. The lever has a decorative handle of Persian form. Apprx 27" tall.

328. A Pair of Brass Hanging Lanterns
Both brass lanterns have a pierced design and stamped work throughout of flowers and scrolls. The finial bottom is separate from the bulbous body and is suspended from three chains as well as the body, also from three chains, conected to a cap with a larger chain. Overall apprx 20", installation chain apprx 24".

329. Oval Lamp Table, Early 20th Century
This oval top table has fluted legs with two ribbed bands and a lower bracket shelf which is apprx 3/4" thick. It is unmarked and has a heavy varnish which is somewhat crazed. It is apprx 29"H x 26"W x 20"D.

330. A Fine Italian Marble Pedestal
A lovely white marble pedestal in four parts. The column has three Dolphins with their tails entwined. Streaked with black and grey veins overall. The round top has a lip. There appears to be a coating of yellowed varnish. Apprx 24-1/2" H.

An oval, low, side table with a Demi-Lune cabinet. Table tops have leather inserts with gilt band decoration and appointed areas of inlay at legs and along a three paneled back. Impressed on verso with "Weiman Tables, Heirloom Quality, 145-7500". Apprx 26"H x 34"L x 20"W.

333. Oval Lion Paw Pedestal Table
A very nice looking double pedestal base with carved Lion paw feet and metal casters, base apprx 20-1/2"H x 48" x 33" and stamped on interior "707". The early 20th Century table has a stamped brass liner with figures, and Persian writing around a central "eye" shaped center. There are seated figures and animal forms with human heads. The center image depicts women playing instruments. Concave tray apprx 53" x 39" with an upturned scalloped rim.

334. Joseph-Emmanuel Descomps (French, 1869 - 1950)
"Sultan's Daughter", C. 1925, bronze with silver, green and gold patina of Sultan's Daughter gazing at her parrot while she reclines on a three-step marble plinth, her dress and shoes are adorned with detailed incised flowers. Apprx 10-1/2"H, base apprx 4-5/16" H x 22-7/8"W. Signed on first step behind figure.
Joseph-Emmanuel-Jules Descomps was born in Clermont-Ferrand, and studied under H. Hiolin. He designed and executed a wide range of objects in the Art Nouveau style, including sculptures in bronze, jewelry, and in stone and ceramics. In the nineteen-twenties he concentrated more on small-scale sculptures, mostly in bronze and ivory.
He exhibited regularly at the Salon of the Societe des Artistes Francais, and was elected a Full Member in 1893. He was awarded an Honourable Mention in the Sculpture Section in 1898, and a Third Class Medal in 1900 in the Applied Arts Section.

335. Art Deco Clock Set, (French, C. 1930)
Incredible Art Deco clock set from France. De-accessioned property from an important museum collection. The bookends measure 6-1/2" wide x 9" tall x 3-1/2" deep. The clock measures 22" wide x 15" tall x 5" deep. Made from beautiful polished marble in red, white, black and gold, this clock set features matching Art Deco bookends with a diagonal silver band on each. The clock has a brass figure of a flapper girl in a dance position. The diamond shaped face is set in brown marble. The face features stylized Art Deco numerals.

A reproduction of the late 18th Century Simon Willard Tall Case Clock, this clock of Federal style includes the features of a molded tombstone waist door, brass stop fluting and detailed fretwork on the bonnet. Interior tag: "This piece reproduced by courtesy of Mr. Henry Ford. Original on display at Edison Institute, Dearborn Michigan, Colonial Manufacturing Company, Zeeland MI". Apprx 7'-8" tall, wood inlay, brass appointments on fluted columns and three brass finials. Enamel face with hand painted flowers and Roman numerals.
