570. Set of Four Perfume Bottles
Four commercial bottles from perfume. Collection includes: Guerlain Shalimar, Guerlain imprinted on verso, apprx height 5"; empty bottle of Shocking by Schiaparelli Paris, includes leather case lined with pink silk and additional applicator, Schiaparelli and France imprinted on verso of torso shaped bottle, apprx 3"; Caton's La Nuit De Noel, opaque black bottle with original stopper, apprx 3"; and Replique by Raphael, 1 fl. oz. bottle, apprx 3-1/4", has trademark stopper marked R, label has been smudged, Raphael and Bottle Made in France marked on bottom.

571. Three Victorian Pens
Set of three Victorian-era pens. One is an engraved chocolate-brown pen with a marked 14k gold nib. The name "J. Hardy" has been engraved on the base of the pen and has scroll filigree overlay. Pen is dated apprx 1905, measures apprx 5-1/4" x 1/4". Second pen is probably 1/10 gold, however unmarked or tested, decorated with a floral-woven pattern. Pen is dated apprx 1915, measures apprx 5" x 1/4" has blank area on barrel for engraving of initials. Third pen has mother-of-pearl barrel and probably 1/10 gold, however unmarked or tested, cap in scroll design. At the base of the cap is engraved "Parker Fountain Pen" and initials read "WRN". Measures apprx 5-1/4" x 1/4" nib is marked "Parker Lucky Curve 3".

572. A Lot of Five Vintage Pens
Each pen has plastic barrel and cap and 14Kt gold nibs. Each pen has metal clip. Variety of colors including red and black, green and black, "tortise shell" and orange. Pens measure apprx 5-1/4" x 1/4". Caps can be unscrewed. One pen is engraved "Epenco" The other pens are engraved "J. Harris", "Wearever" and "EF USA".

573. Antique Writing Set
Set of pen and pencil in gold. Pen is adorned with leaf pattern and has a gold nib. Pencil has matching gold leaf pattern and has original lead. Pen measures apprx 7" and pencil measures apprx 6". These writing utensils come with an original case of gold velvet lined with white satin and white velvet. The case shows signs of age and wear with spots of velvet rubbed out. The utensils are secured in the case by a white satin ribbon.

574. Vintage Pendant Pen and Pencil Set, Early 20th Century
Vintage pen and pencil set with case. Pencil has brass tip and plastic barrel. Green, pink and white hand painted floral decoration. Matching pen has gold nib marked "Greishaber Chicago". Both writing utensils are enclosed in a green and brown cloth case with pink velvet interior and are pendant utensils. Pen and pencil measure apprx 4". Case measures apprx 5". Pencil inscribed with "Cross Alwrite".

575. Inlaid Papier Mache Writing Accessories
Distinctively designed papier mache pencil box, sliding drawer with gold interior, face of portrait has been chipped away, floral vignettes, and an intricate gold pattern throughout. Apprx 9" long. Inlaid Mother-of-pearl hinged box, Japanese style arrangement of flowers with 'bamboo' border on top and front of box. Cracks throughout surface, small chip on front bottom. Interior has two small compartments lined with blue velvet. Lock lacking a key. Apprx size 5" x 5", hinge at 2".

577. Two Vintage Mesh Handbags
First handbag has a sterling silver frame with chain and ball clasp. Very simple with little ornementation. Tiny silver beads hang from bottom, measures apprx 4-3/4" x 4". Second handbag features decorative gold chain and ball clasp on a marked Wade & Davis Co frame. "S" linked mesh is multicolored and has ruffle bottom. Interior is lined with floral silk, apprx 5" x 6-1/2".
Originally known as the Wade & Davis Co., Whiting and Davis earned their new name when Charles Whiting joined the firm in 1876. The Massachusetts based jewelry production company expanded to produce mesh purses after Davis developed a technique to create mesh in the early 1900's.

Whiting and Davis Deco-style purse features a traditional Art Deco design in turquoise, brown, yellow and white mesh. This purse is unlined and has a silver frame with an inset enameled design in blue and brown. Stamped "Whiting and Davis Co. Mesh Bags" insignia on both sides of clasp. Purse measures apprx 5-1/2" x 6".

This vintage evening purse features a beaded oriental design in red, green, black gold, gray and pink. At the bottom of the purse are three beaded triangular shapes with multicolored beaded fringe. The frame is sterling silver and has a rosebud design with cherubs and vines. The clasp is unique and must be pushed to release. Sterling silver double chain. Lined with red satin. Measures apprx 7" x 12-1/2".
