Image measures apprx 18-1/4" x 13". Bottom half of image has orange background wtih pink and green flowers, top half of image has purple background with blue, green and orange feather decoration. Central part of image is octagonally shaped with 6 white doves flying amongst green, purple, blue and pink clouds. Marking at bottom reads "Aug. H. Thomas, Formes et Couleurs, Plache 13". Not inspected out of mat. Plates are from Aug. H. Thomas' book "Formes et Couleurs" from 1922.

It measures apprx 18 1/4" x 13".

The image itself is in good condition, although very delicate. This is an Oriental themed print that has been hand colored with blue and gold ink.

"Figures and Awnings II". Aquatint on paper, signed in pencil lower right, titled lower center margin and "Edition 65" lower left. Altman, who was born in New York in 1924, is best known for his etchings and lithographs. His subjects are figures in landscapes, focusing on soft and serene scenes connecting people to nature. This early and rare etching is rather dark, depicting four figures walking away from awnings. This piece is similar to the "Let There be Light" etching from "The Magpie". Image itself measures apprx 23" x 18-1/4", overall with glass and frame apprx 36" x 29-1/2".
