"Cash Cow", trompe l'oeil oil on panel, signed lower left. Panel apprx 5" x 7", overall with frame apprx 10-1/2" x 12-1/2". Painting depicts an orgami cow from a one dollar bill. The title of in the form of a torn scrap which had been "taped" to the backing board. Born in Abilene, Texas, Gayle Tate earned a BS in 1967 from Florida State University and lives in Laramie, Wyoming. He has extensive auction records and is a favorite of collectors of trompe l'oeil works.
