580. Pair of Vintage Purses
Art Deco bag has a red watch clasp bearing the name Arnold and Made in France on clasp accented with white stones and engraving details, fabric ground is green with blue and pink flowers, interior is lined with pink silk, inside pocket has clasp with two compartments inside, side pocket contains mirror. Wrist handle on verso of bag, apprx 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Tapestry bag has a picture of a young lady and suiter on a picnic, the boy plays a lute or mandolin, a path and castle in the background, twist clasp has two jewels of citrine, interior lined with yellow silk, side pocket reads Delill, ink stains on silk. Simple gold chain for purse strap. Apprx 9" x 8-1/2".

581. Mandalian Enamel Mesh Purse, C. 1920
This mesh handbag features a pattern design of gold cresents in gold and black, borders extending up to a pair of flowers centering two more cresents near mouth of purse, gold painted metal frame is enhanced with floral and oval designs, ball clasp and brass chain. Brass linked fringe hang apprx 1" from bottom of bag, Mandalian Mfg Co. printed in interior, apprx 7". Does not have lining.

582. Vintage Beaded Purse
This vintage beaded purse features a brass frame with floral motif and ball clasp. The chain is brass as well. The beadwork forms a floral design in the center and an abstract geometric design at the bottom. A small beaded globe hangs from the bottom of the purse. The background beadwork is gray with the floral design in brighter colors such as green, red, blue and pink. The interior is lined with gray satin which has become discolored. A unique feature of this purse is a small mirror attached to the interior, as well as a small pocket. Purse measures apprx 7-1/4" x 10-3/4".

583. A Lot of Two Vintage Handbags
First bag is black sequined with sterling silver expandable neck. This particular type of clasp is typical of Victorian style evening purses. Hinged lid closes over neck and has sterling silver chain. Some wear to the silver. Measures apprx 5-1/4" x 6". Second bag is embroidered with an ornate frame. One side features a floral and filigree design, the other side features a shell and vine design. Background is cream with brown, green and rose colored embroidery. Floral border surrounds a small building. This bag has a gold chain. Interior is lined with cream satin and has a small pocket. Bag measures apprx 6-1/2" x 6-1/2".

Hand-painted ivory container features a painting on an unknown material in the center. The painting is of an 18th Century woman with gray powdered wig and blue gown. The signature "Getty" is visible on the right side of the image. The container itself is round and has a carved rim. The image is surrouned by a brass ring. Container measures apprx 3-1/2" x 2".

The large sized celluloid hair comb circa 1920's has tortoise shell inspired appearence. Five prongs to secure comb in hair. This comb has a leaf and vine design. Measures apprx 10" x 12". Women would secure combs such as this in their hair as ornamentation.

A beautiful copper tray engraved with engraved wedding invitation (not legible) and marked on verso "Tiffany & Co.". The tray has an elegant, flowing edge that is slightly raised from the tray. This was a classical token gift as an engraved wedding invitation. Apprx 8-1/2" x 6".

588. Art Nouveau Dresser Casket
Marked B&W 152 on verso, on four feet, the top decorated with a woman in a bonnet looking towards a house on a riverbank. Foliate designs throughout and on front side there is another image of a home surrounded by trees. Applied gilt, measures apprx 10-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 4". This object would be used to hold jewelry.

589. Enameled Shoe Horn and Nail File
Enameled shoe horn and nail file are hallmarked American silver. Shoe horn measures apprx 9" and has an white and violet holographic enameled handle. Handle is encompassed by a silver border. The matching nail file measures apprx 8" and has white and holographic enameling as well. These objects date from the 20th century.
