R.Wallace & Company sterling silver platter, monogrammed in center, shallow dish with detailed rose border in moderate relief around perimeter. R. Wallace & Sons hallmark on verso along with sterling mark, number 163 and number 16 IN. The R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co. was originally located in Wallingford, Connecticut. Today, the company goes under the name Wallace Silversmiths, Inc. Apprx 16" x 10-1/2". Overall apprx 26.3 Troy oz.

288. Sterling Silver Mustard Pots with Spoons
Set of four mustard pots with corresponding mustard spoons. Three pots are identical. Fourth pot is more ornate with floral and scroll design and decorative handle. This particular pot is lined with blue glass. Glass has sticker on bottom dates 1897. Mustard pot itself is English hallmarked sterling silver from Birmingham, 1895-98. Three identical mustard pots are sterling silver and stamped "F163 800" on verso. Each has clear glass liner and hinged lid. Four corresponding mustard spoons. One is unmarked. Other three are hallmarked English silver. One spoon is hallmarked Birmingham, 1883-84, EF & HT. Second spoon is hallmarked Chester, 1896-97, SWS. Third spoon is hallmarked Birmingham, 1888-89, SWS. Overall apprx 5.8 Troy oz. with glass inserts.
