Thomas Landseer drawing laid-in. Thomas Landseer (British 1795-1880) "Several Studies of a foot," double-sided drawing in graphite and brown chalk. Landseer was known for his watercolors of British genre, this sketch is from one of his sketch books, dated 1813. The sketchbook was purchased from Kenneth Rendell c.1977. Our client still has the sketch book. It is not certain that the script is by Landseer, however the drawings are guaranteed to be by his hand. Measures appx 6" x 12".
