| 159. Set of 19th Century Spy Prints
Set of four men's fashion plates from Vanity Fair magazine. All plates measure apprx 15" x 9-1/2", framed. The majority of the prints were colored by chromo-lithography. The earliest plate dates from March 24, 1883 and features "Brighton." The October 23, 1886 print is a Spy print and is entitled "one of those." The February 25, 1888 print is also a Spy print and features "Tay Pay." The last print is dated October 18, 1890 and features Mr. Marcus Henry Milner and it has been noted in pencil underneath the title to whom he was married. 100/200 Sold $207.00 back to catalog |
