A reproduction of the late 18th Century Simon Willard Tall Case Clock, this clock of Federal style includes the features of a molded tombstone waist door, brass stop fluting and detailed fretwork on the bonnet. Interior tag: "This piece reproduced by courtesy of Mr. Henry Ford. Original on display at Edison Institute, Dearborn Michigan, Colonial Manufacturing Company, Zeeland MI". Apprx 7'-8" tall, wood inlay, brass appointments on fluted columns and three brass finials. Enamel face with hand painted flowers and Roman numerals. 1,200/2,500 Sold $862.50 back to catalog |
