Unique piece of art, it is considerate in both form and function, signed by the artist (illegibly) and dated 1987 on the bottom. Thick, shallow dish with a flat bottom and raised center; a striking cobalt blue color extends around the perimeter and fades into the center bubble resulting in a likeness to the moon. The bottom is equally as striking with a gradual spiral of white dots mixing with the blue, creating a cloud-like effect. Apprx 7-1/2"diameter. Polished verso.
