Eleven plates with intaglio starburst pattern cut in center. Apprx 7" diameter. Acid etched name HAWKES on verso. The T.G. Hawkes and Company (1890-1962) was founded by Thomas G. Hawkes at Corning, New York. Hawkes glass at its best is magnificent and unrivaled, particularly when cut on Corning banks or on the banks of the Steuben Company. Hawkes personally created and patented some of the best designs of the Brilliant Period.
