| 136. Pietro Santi Bartoli, (Italian 1635-1700)
This 18th century hand colored engraving by Bartoli was made after Roman temple paintings and has been professionally matted. Plate measures apprx 8" x 30", overall with full margins apprx 20-1/2" x 31-1/2". The image is a traditional Roman scene in which the figures play musical instruments, wear laurel wreaths and stand before fountains. It is unmarked with the exception of "LIV" in the upper right corner. 400/600 Sold $379.50 back to catalog |
