Seascape of a rocky coast, sailboats skim the water in the distance. Watercolor on paper, signed lower left, double matted and framed with plexi-glass, apprx image size 9-1/4" x 13-1/4", apprx size with frame 24" x 27". Uren lived at Penzance in 1885 and was in Plymouth in 1898. A marine and landscape painter, Uren painted mostly watercolor views, especially in the West Country. He was exhibiting extensively between 1885 and 1898 and has been exhibitied at Royal Academy and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolors.
