| 301. Assorted Souvenir Spoons
This is a unique assortment of sterling silver souvenir spoons. Several spoons commemorate important events such as holidays, graduations and inductions into fraternal societies. In addition some spoons are souvenirs from various locations throughout North America and the world, including Mexico, Iowa, New Mexico and Wisconsin. Each spoon is different with details such as engraved bowls and ornately carved shanks. One spoon in particular has a distinctive shovel shaped bowl while another has been inscribed with the name Elsie. 15 of the 18 spoons are hallmarked American silver. The remaining three are hallmarked silver from various European countries, including Holland. Spoons range in size from 6" to 4". Dates range from 1897 to present day.
