Locations include Arkansas, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Washington, California, Canada, Maine, New York, Arizona, South Dakota, Chicago, Massachusetts and West Virginia. Set numbers 22 spoons. Spoons feature locations such as the Frontenac Hotel in Frankfort, Michigan, Huntington, West Virginia, Kendallville, Indiana, Hot Springs, Arkansas, Chillicothe, Missouri, Niagara Falls, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Lake Champlain, Seattle, Portland, Black Hills and New Orleans. All spoons are hallmarked American silver, with the exception of a brass spoon from Chicago. One spoon from Missouri is dated November 28, 1904. Spoon collecting was extremely popular in the first decade of the 20th century. Each spoon has unique details, such as prominent locations (Mount Rushmore, the Space Needle, City Hall Tower, East Lake Park) and ornate carving on the shanks and bowls, particularly in the spoon from Huntington.
