| 233. Ming Dynasty Swatow Blue & White Dish, Late 16th/Early 17th Century
A large deep dish of the Ming period, center painted with two dragons confronted around a pearl amongst fire-scrolls. Also, an octafoil panel reserved on a scale-pattern ground, below eight floral lappet-shaped panels on the sides. The base has a typical rough finish and is partially glazed, with adheard sand.
