| 510. Three Royal Doulton Character Mugs Including "The Falconer", "Old Salt" and "Neptune"
Royal Doulton "The Falconer" porcelain figurine measures apprx 2-3/4" tall. Features the face of a man wearing a navy and white hat with a falcon perched on his shoulder. A brown scarf is wrapped around his neck. Royal Doulton insignia on verso, hallmark number 6547, c.1959. "Old Salt" measures apprx 8" tall. Mug of an old sea captain with gray beard, navy blue captains hat and turtleneck sweater. Handle is in the form of a figure of a mermaid. Royal Doulton insignia on verso as well as the hallmark number 6551, c. 1960. Royal Doulton "Neptune" measures apprx 7" tall. Mug of water-god Neptune and has been designed by Max Henk, flowing white beard and a crown of shells. Attached to the right side is a large green fish. On the back of the figure the word "Neptune" has been inscribed. Royal Doulton on verso, hallmark number 6548, c. 1960. 150/225 Sold $149.50 back to catalog |
