The inkwell is sterling silver and cut glass. The bottom of the inkwell has been decorated in a carved grid pattern. It is square shaped with a rounded lid. The sterling silver lid is decorated with a rosebud and vine design. The initials "SPT" are engraved in the lid, also marked sterling, apprx 2" x 3". Lot also includes an American wax stamp with an ornate vine motif. The stamp is for the letter "E" and has been engraved with the initials "MBP", apprx 3-3/4".
