A hinged lidded container with decorative bands on body and diamond cartouche on front. Lid has raised scalloped center with patterning and rose center. Netherlands standard silver mark of a rampant lion facing right, #7545, ref. "The Book of Old Silver" by Seymour B. Wyler, page 382 & 391. Hallmarks also include the head of Perseus facing left, "V146" in a square stamp, on body an lid and lower case letter "g", also found on lid. Verso inscribed "A.R.".
