373. Art Deco Iron Work
A period Art Deco wall mount with a protruding arm probably for lamp lighting. Metal has dark brown patina and is stamped "Paris" on recto, lower left. Measures apprx 9-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 5". The architectural 19th Century French ironwork such as this piece has enjoyed a revival of popularity in the last several years. The principal artisan responsible for this style was the master designer and ironworker, Edgar Brandt.

374. Mechanical Singing Bird, C. 19th/20th Century
Brass birdcage is home to a miniature South American finch with red and green feathers. He is perched on the stand which is decorated with small leaves and berries and felt base. Cage is mounted to a gilt base with bead work and floral mounts. When wound the bird's beak, head and tail move while it chirps. Measures apprx 12"H x 6-1/2" x 5" at base. Unmarked and unsigned.

375. Roycroft Arrow-Shaped Wall Sconce, C. 1906-1910
Hand-hammered copper wall sconce in arrowhead design with "stiched " line work and chipped edges and Aurora brown patina. Features early Roycroft mark near base. This piece has a rounded holder for a candle and pierced top wall mounting. Measures apprx 8" x 3-1/4." Incorporated in 1899, Roycroft began producing simple copper home accessories in 1906. These were originally sold as a pair and retailed in 1910 for apprx $5.00.

376. Signed Alabaster Nude
This nude sculpted out of alabaster appears to be signed on verso, "R. Morinai." Classical nude stands with one knee slightly bent. She holds an apple in one hand and a robe in the other. This indicates that this is a possibly a sculpture of Eve. Alabaster has a lovely white-yellow color. Simple square shaped base. Overall this piece measures apprx 20" x 6-1/4."

377. Opera House Light Fixture & Glass Table
Originally installed as a light fixture in an Opera house, this polished bronze light had six glass inserts. The styling has a Greek Key and scrolls, rosettes and finials. Glass table is beveled and center drilled for securing screw in place finial. Apprx 19"H x 35"D, glass is apprx 40"S x 3/4"T.

378. Michael Garman (American 20th Century)
A great sculptural lamp by American artist Michael Garman. This unique lamp depicts an ordinary man wearing gray pants and a brown jacket sitting in a old green armchair. Pieces of stuffing are beginning to come out of the chair and he is hunched in front of the T.V. watching a Cleveland Browns football game. A table next to him is laden with empty beer cans, a pack of Kool cigarettes and matches. A copy of Celibates magazine is tossed behind the television and a box of sugar daddies is thrown on the floor. Lamp has a plug that will fit into a two-prong American wall socket. Signed Michael Garman on base and dated 1986. Measures apprx 15" x 12."

379. A Leaded Glass Art Pendent Lamp, Early/Mid 20th Century
A large hanging lampshade made from opalescent white slag glass and beveled ruby red glass. Red glass has been set in a greek key pattern. Lampshade has scalloped edges. Dated from the early 20th century. Hardware on lampshade is marked "Royal Art Glass Co. N.Y." The Royal Art Glass Co. was known for their production of lamps in the early 20th century. This lamp measures apprx 16" x 25."

381. Folk Art Pet Cage, 20th Century
Tin folk art pet cage features a sliding trap door in the back, as well as a tray that slides out. The cage is designed to resemble a housewith barred windows on both sides. An exercise wheel is attached to the back of the house and the steeple is removable. Structure measures apprx 25" x 19."

382. Collection of Caved Pipes
Collection of eleven carved pipes. Includes wooden pipe carved to look like a horse with glass eyes, marked "made in Italy," three men's faces, one marked "made in Turkey," three carved pipes with abstract floral designs, one with a simple square design, as well as one pipe with a ceramic bowl from Holland and one gilded pipe from Holland. Also included in this collection is a single bowl with floral design. All pipes made from clay with the exception of the horse pipe. Apprx measurements range from 5-1/2" to 8".
