"Horsemen", from the original drawing in the collection of the Duke of Devonshire. Original drawing is by Claude Lorraine. Published on April 25, 1774 by John Boydell, an engraver in Cheapside. Plate size is apprx 8" x 10." Paper size measures apprx 11" x 16-1/2." Engraving depicts a gentleman leading a young lady and several others across a field. Image has a lovely sepia tone.
