A later hand colored 16th century map of Corsica, text in French, verso with detailed text regarding the islands ancient history, vegetation, government and cities. Page 585 book plate. Strap-work cartouch, which was made famous 1570. Copper plate engraving, plate impression apprx 13-5/8" x 9-2/8". Chain lines visible at 1" intervals, overall paper size apprx 16-3/8" x 10-1/2".

From Koeman, Atlantes Neerlandici, volume of II, P. 506, ME 183, shows upper axles with the diocese resounds and Principality of notion, centrically Wittenberg. Upper left shows title cartouche, upper right of shows coats of arms. Strong colours and gold detailing in coat of arms. Presented on ivory overmat and gold wood frame. Plate impression apprx 15-1/16" x 19-1/2", overall and with frame apprx 28" x 31".

 A county map of Ohio and Indiana from "Mitchell's New General Atlas, 1870." Framed (frame size: approx 21" X 23"; image size: approx 12" x 15". This map shows Mitchell's traditional grape vine border and characteristic pastel coloring. Some light scattered foxing, else very good. Not inspected out of frame.

A good map of the county divided into hundreds with a decorative title cartouche, three scales and the publisher's imprint, from Camden's Britannia. Apprx 14-1/2" x 16-1/2" inches, unframed or matted.
