1. A Lot of Two Old Babylonian Terracotta Idols, C. 18th/16th Century
Two terracotta idols of human form. The first is a standing nude female, possibly Lilith, with folded hands across the torso, formed hair parted in the middle. The second is a man standing, facing left in long patterned garment. He is also wearing a hat and both hands are raised and open at the mouth. They measure apprx 3-3/4" x 2" and apprx 3-1/2" x 1-1/4".

2. Another Lot of of Babylonian Idols, C. 18th/16th Century
The first idol is a grey clayware, possibly Lilith, standing forward and wearing jewelry. The second is a primitive idol made of reddish terracotta of a standing man with arms down at sides. They measure apprx 3-1/2" x 1" and apprx 3-1/2" x 5/8".

6. Roman/Mesopotamian Terracotta Seals C. 1st/2nd Century A.D.
This group of nineteen seals were used on papyrus Temple documents. They have various motifs and are made of red and/or black clay, many with striations on the back showing the fibers of the papyrus. Lot includes nine human profiles, three seated figures with wonderful draping of robes, a Victory Angel Nike with wings, another standing figure, possibly Pax, a segmented bug, three with two facing persons and one with two standing persons with detailed torsos and clothing. Measures from 1" to 8/16" overall.

7. Iridescent Roman Glass Vase, C. 100/300 A.D.
A clear glass vase with greens, blue, red and yellow iridescence. Blown body and fluted rim, a very delicate vase of slender form. Please see detailed photographs on details page. Apprx 5-5/8"T x 2-1/4" at shoulder x 2-1/8"D at rim. This type of ancient glass patina was revived by Tiffany in the 20th Century; known as Favrille glass.

8. An Incantation Bowl, C. 5th Century
A pottery bowl inscribed with Old Aramaic text. A household object used by the people of Mesopotamia, these are often found in the corners of the house or inverted, sometimes in pairs. This practice suggest the usage of Babylonian magic to cure illness, perform spells and trap devils. Apprx 2-1/2"T x 5-1/2"D.

Possibly silver with a gold wash. A twisted single band adorned with three amulets, two oval and one round. Very detailed metal work with pyramid granulations and filigree work. Apprx 2" x 1-1/2".

10. A Lot Of Two Roman/Christian Oil Lamps
Both lamps are a reddish clay material. The first has no decoration and an open looped handle and raised rim/lip with two openings. The second lamp has decorative rope band and three circles with dots and bands. Also, a simple squared handle and two openings with a small raised lip. They measures apprx 3" x 2-1/2" and 4 "x 2".
