| 149. Two Heliogravures from "l'Architecture Moderne en France"
Set of two heliogravures featuring French architecture from the book "L'architecture moderne en France." Please see the details page for complete descriptions. This image is comprised of one building, the Chateau de Pelussin, from both the front and back view. The first heliograving has text which identifies the image as the "arriere facade" or the backside. Engraved in the lower left is the name, "F. Barqui, Arch Del et Direx." In the lower right corner is the name "J. Baudry, Editeur." The center of the image is identified as the "Chateu de Pelussin, Mr. O. Tissur, Arch a Lyon." J. Baudry is the name of the printer who made the plate for architect and designer F. Barqui. The companion print features the facade of the Chateau.
