"Sun Spirits" is a 1995 Prix de West winner. This limited edition lithograph features two Native Americans traveling through the desert with their horses. Signed "Kenneth Riley" in lower right corner and numbered lower left 106/175, it comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Archival mat and frame, apprx 36" x 36". Museum glass. A realist painter of the Old West and a highly successful illustrator, Ken Riley was born in Waverly, Missouri in 1919 and has had a studio in Tucson, Arizona since 1971. He is a charter member of the National Academy of Western Art, and in 1982 was elected to the Cowboy Artists of America, an exclusive group of painters and sculptors dedicated to western art in the tradition of Charles Russell and Frederic Remington. 600/800 Sold $632.50 back to catalog |
