336. Two Beautiful Paperweights

The round paperweight is possibly Storbridge, circa 1856. It has five millifore rings, beginning with pink and white honeycomb cane, followed by white with thin royal blue diamond shaped canes, next a ring of yellow and white honeycomb canes, then purple and white star canes followed by amber and white honeycomb canes and finally a white and yellow star cane in the center. The other is probably one of a group of 85 Baccarat green and white triple overlay faceted paperweights produced circa 1953. The center is a spectacular millifore design of seven rings. The outer ring is pink and white honeycomb cane with a small blue dot in the center, next a yellow and blue honeycomb cane, then a white honeycomb cane with a small red dot in the center, next a navy and light blue honeycomb cane, followed by a green and white honeycomb cane, also with a small red dot in the center, then a white, yellow and pink honeycomb and finally an intricate white triple star cane in the middle with a yellow center and blue boarder.
