Nice strike overall of this early Morgan with full mint luster. Bag mark above the forehead is the only detracting concern in the field. Another fine example of this early Morgan. A nice strike though the definition on Liberty's hair is not quite as nice and the field has a few more marks than our other example. Still a solid, beautiful coin. Reverse is a solid MS-65 with a beautiful almost mirror like finish. The obverse shows either a very weak strike of Liberty's head or some wear that brings down the overall grade of this handsome New Orleans coin. A striking coin with mint luster. A nice strike for New Orleans. Solid coin with few bag marks and slight toning on the edges makes this an above average BU. A solid copy of an important date.
