Nice strike overall of this early Morgan with full mint luster. Bag mark above the forehead is the only detracting concern in the field. Another fine example of this early Morgan. A nice strike though the definition on Liberty's hair is not quite as nice and the field has a few more marks than our other example. Still a solid, beautiful coin. Reverse is a solid MS-65 with a beautiful almost mirror like finish. The obverse shows either a very weak strike of Liberty's head or some wear that brings down the overall grade of this handsome New Orleans coin. A striking coin with mint luster. A nice strike for New Orleans. Solid coin with few bag marks and slight toning on the edges makes this an above average BU. A solid copy of an important date. Wear on Liberty's hairline and the eagle's breast as typical for this state. Beautiful field and a solid strike, a consistent coin for the obverse and reverse. A nice coin that will fit nicely in the collection of uncirculated silver dollars. A solid coin and a nice strike with wear typically found on the reverse breast feathers and on the hairline on Liberty's head. A harder to find San Francisco date. Outstanding luster with golden toning highlights make this coin a star. Usual nice strike shows great detail. A nice example of a beautiful coin. Nice field, slightly weak impression on eagles breast on reverse. Solid, consistent, even coin. Bag mark on reverse next to eagle's head. Very clean field, toning at date, good impression, handsome coin. Tough to find Carson City with consistent wear throughout. Clear date, 50% tail feathers. Solid copy of an extremely desirable coin. Some original mint luster is present. Consistent, high XF New Orleans coin. Very clean field and a nice strike make this coin a beautiful example of a Morgan dollar, could be MS-64 or even 65. Some tarnish at the date and in the curls of the hair at the bottom are the only detraction. A nice impression on the obverse and reverse. Clear field without blemish. Light frosting that gives a look of subdued perfection. A gem of a coin. Nice copy, somewhat weakly struck with weak breast feathers on reverse and hairline on obverse but a nice example with typical bag marks for the issue. Attractive copy with nice mint patina, few bag marks including at base of neck, solid strike, nice clean coin for grade. Nice strike for this New Orleans Morgan. Beautiful reverse with expected bag marks on obverse. Solid BU coin. Nicely struck coin for date with few bag marks. Full mint luster and a handsome coin. Decent impression for New Orleans mint, which is notorious for weakly minted coins. Slight toning on obverse, consistent condition overall. Better than average BU coin with nice strike, gorgeous reverse and a fairly clean field. Attractive example of this New Orleans strike with light bag marks to cheek. Full impression and consistent grading to obverse and reverse. Refreshing mint luster and a nice sound coin. Normal strike for New Orleans, with a weak hairline and weak breast feathers on the reverse. Still a handsome coin with full mint patina. Noticeable bag mark on cheek, but not untypical marks for issue and date. 500/1,000 Sold $891.25 back to catalog |
