231. A Group of Silver Plated Items

Proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to the Lyric Opera, Cleveland. Silver plated tea service includes coffee pot, tea pot, sugar and creamer. Coffee pot has hinged lid and feather designs. Finial has been cast to resemble a flower bud. Marked Sheridan Silver Plate on verso. Overall measures apprx 12" x 10." Tea pot has identical design and measures apprx 10" x 10." Matching creamer measures apprx 5" x 5." Sugar has removable lid with flower bud finial. Overall measures apprx 6-1/4" x 6-1/2." Large silver plated serving bowl has scalloped edges and a pedestal base. Interior of bowl resembles a flower bud. Etched "Dublin K40" on verso, as well as with the name "Fisher." Measures apprx 5" x 10." Front of bowl is etched with the intials "R.E.H." Silver plate pitcher features an angled handle attached to an elongated pitcher accented with scroll designs. The letter "E" has been etched into the front of the pitcher. Verso stamped "Reed & Barton, 5100." Reed & Barton is a Massachusettes based company specializing in silverplate. Overall this piece measures apprx 9-1/2" x 8." Covered dish features a lovely leaf pattern accented with animal paw feet. Small cut-out in lid allows for a spoon to be kept in the dish. Verso stamped with two swords. Overall measures apprx 7" x 10-1/2." Silver plated serving tray features an etched design of swirling vines and acanthus leaves. The initials H.G.H appear in the center of the tray. Stamped EPNS in block lettering on verso. Measures apprx 26-1/2" x 16-1/2."
