288. Steuben Green & White Cluthra Vase

This vase is light green in color with bottom shading to green at the top. It has numerous large eyes, the largest measuring apprx 1". It is fleur-de-lys signed on verso with a ground pontil. Apprx 5" x 3-1/2" at base x 7" at shoulder x 4" at opening. This type of glass was developed in the 1920's by Frederick Carder (1863-1963) at Steuben Glass Works in Corning, New York.
