1920's French-style oil on canvas depicts a young lady wearing a white blouse. She gazes at us but does not smile. The format is very similar to that of Marie Laurencin. Originally purchased from an estate in upstate New York by Hampton House Antiques, Cleveland, Ohio. Canvas measures apprx 29" x 23-1/2". Signed "Lillian Cotton" in lower left corner. Framed, this piece measures apprx 33" x 27-1/2".
