| 384. Nautical Copper Plaque
Nautical copper plaque has reportedly been exhibited at the Columbian Exposition. This plaque features one large round medallion with a shipwreck scene in the center. This medallion is flanked by two round medallions on each side. Right side depicts Neptune, the god of the sea, as well as a set of weather forecasting equipment. Left side depicts two mermaids and a compass. A celestial sun carried by angels accents the top of the shipwreck scene. Plaque measures apprx 19" x 29-1/2." 100/300 Sold $207.00 back to catalog |
