| 385. A Rosewood Tea Caddy, C. 19th Century
Antique wood tea caddy is divided into three sections. Center section has rounded compartment lined with rose-colored velvet. Remaining two sections are empty. Hinged lid closes and has a mother-of-pearl lock. Exterior of box is varnished and has a lovely warm red/brown color. Red paper was originally glued to verso and now is peeling off. No visible markings. Box measures apprx 13" x 7" x 7." 250/350 Sold $172.50 back to catalog |
