A beautifully inlaid cherry table with a basket of fruit, flowers and leaves in the center. The basket of flowers and fruit is inlaid on a maple background with various woods, including fir and spruce and is boardered by a cherry rim. It has one central blind drawer and stands on narrow curved legs. In the drawer is an old inventory card, with information in French. It indicates that this marquetry was most likey in the style of the queen Charlotte Mathilde de Werttemburg (1766-1828). Measures apprx 28-1/4" x 24-3/4" x 18-1/4".

All four tables are inlay-signed Galle in the lower right corner. The largest table is apprx 27-3/4" x 23" x 15-1/8" and has a waterscape inlaid in the background with four daffodils in the foreground. The second table is apprx 26-3/4" x 19" x 14-3/4" and is also a water scene with three boats floating in the water and three trees on the left in the foreground. The third table shows three kittens, one tabby, one white and one dark brown, all lapping milk out of a bowl, with some of it spilling out onto the floor. It is apprx 25-3/4" x 16- 3/4" x 14-7/8". The smallest table has three daffodils and is apprx 24-3/4" x 14-1/2" x 14-3/8". The tables are well fitted with guides on either side so they slide together easily. All four tables have a single stretcher apprx 1/3 of the way up the legs, three of which are pierced and curved and pierced legs on either side.

An art Deco case by B. Spade, Decorateur, Paris, measures apprx 59" h x 37-1/4"w x 18-1/4"d with a hidden foot release, which allows the front panel to be turned to reveal a bar. The bar consists of 3 shelves, under a larger work surface, under another small shelf, all stained red. At the top of the bar are four sections, all of which are meant to be mirrored, although only one is. There are also two lights, one at the top of the bar, the second under the top shelf. When closed, the front of the case is stained green and laquered with a central rectangular panel of painted leaves in gold and gray with hints of purple. On either side of the case are columns, also green with brass ring accents at the top and bottom ending in tapered feet with brass castors. On verso is a small tag reading B. Spade, Decorateur, Paris

A great Art Deco cabinet by B. Spade, Decorateur, Paris, has a brass boardered glass door at the top, folding down to reveal a red velveteen interior, meant for one shelf. There are three posible settings for the shelf. The glass door locks with a small key at the top. It is wired for electricity. On the bottom are two fitted doors with a brass escutcheon, also with a key. The doors open to reveal an interior meant for shelves. It currently has three shelves, but could accommodate more. The front of the case is stained dark green and lacquered and the sides are light wood, possibly maple. Two columns flank the front of the case with brass ring embellishments at the top and the bottom, ending in tapered feet with brass castors. It measures apprx. 59-1/4"H x 37-1/2"W x 18"D. On verso is a small tag reading " B. Spade, Decorateur, Paris".

Both with cresting carved with a scallop shell, flower-head, scrolled volutes, over a frieze decorated with a gilt trellis pattern. The arched glazed door with glazed panels flanking, over a shaped bombe lower case has a frieze drawer and a hinged cabinet door, raised on cabriole legs. Each has two shelves. Three panes of glass complete the upper portion of the cabinet. Decorated with Chinoiseries in gilt and red cartouches reserved on a green ground. The doors on these cabinets have keyholes, although the key appears to be missing. 69"H x 18"W x 12"D. Purchased in Paris in 2000.

Green veined marble tops, hand painted thoughout with bouquets and butterfly, bombay fronts and sides. Overall yellow color with caved wood accents in gilt. One sideboard has six silver drawers and two linen drawers. The second sideboard has one interior shelf. Both have metal applied tags on verso from "Hess & Rom, Mobelfabrik, Berlin". 41"H x 41-1/2"W x 22-1/2".
