| 285. Volkstedt-Rudolstadt Porcelain Figural Group, C. 1900-1936
Large Meissen style porcelain figural depicts lovely ladies preparing for a ball with an attendant. The seated lady holds a fan, while her companion fusses over her hair. Next to them stands a porcelain dresser with a detachable mirror, held by nuts and bolts. Gilt roses are scattered on the floor. Each lady has delicate lace trim on her gown. A gold crown accents the front of the piece. The entire piece is hand decorated. It is signed with a blue under glazed mark.
