| 139. James Milton Sessions (American, 1882-1962)
"Street Scene, Quebec", watercolor non paper. Signed in the lower left corner in blue ink. Image size apprx 8" x 10", overall apprx 17" x 21". Verso has applied gallery tag from Campanile Galleries, located in Chicago, Illinois. Sessions trained at the Art Institute of Chicago and later served in the Navy during World War I. He is most well known for his mastery of watercolor techniques as well as marine scenes and he was said to destroy much of his own work after it had been completed.
