"Springtime in Japan" by the Lladro Porcelain Company is a depiction of two young girls sitting on a bridge. One girl carries a small dish with a lotus blossom, the second girl holds a tiny flower in her hand and has an umbrella, which is suppossed to rest in her hand, over her shoulder. The bridge is accented by several bunches of delicate flowers. The girls are dressed in pastel kimonos. The figures are attached to a velvet covered wooden base. Porcelain figural measures apprx 12" x 15" x 6". Base measures apprx 14-1/2" x 6" x 1". Signed "Lladro" on verso in blue. Also stamped "Hand made in Spain, Daisa, 1984".
