Two oil on tin paintings show different scenes of a horse and his groom. In the first painting the groom sits in the stable and appears to be fixing the bridle. White horse has his back turned towards the viewer. Initialed "E.R." in right margin. Second painting depicts the same horse without bridle. The rider is sprawled out on the stable floor. He appears to be in a deep sleep. Signed with intials. Both paintings measure apprx 8" x 6-3/4". Framed, these pieces measure apprx 10" x 9-1/2". 300/600 Sold $529.00 back to catalog |
