Silver (plate) repousse vegetable warming dish includes a simple lid, which would be placed over the bowl. A pierced tray was then set on the plain lid. Ornate legs are accented with flower. Repousse floral design on body and lid of dish. The lid inscribed with the initial "B" and has a small bone or ivory handle so that lid can be pushed back. Verso of dish is inscribed with the initals "W H" and stamped 1.5. Below is stamped "Hard soldered". Overall measures apprx 9" x 13".
