Late 18th Century engraving of a Roman temple painting, standing male nude holding a bow and arrow, with purple drapped fabric. His hair is ornately bound with a wide blue ribbon. All hand colored. Figure is central with a 1" border of leaves and yellow ribbon swags. Plate is numbered upper right XLIV. Impression apprx 15" x 11", overall paper size apprx 20-1/2" x 12-1/2".
