Ora studied with William Merritt Chase at the Students Art League and exhibited at the Case Library in in 1902 watercolors from his travels in England and France. He also exhibited in the Cleveland May Shows c.1920-30 as well as Cleveland galleries such as Gage Gallery, Womens City Club, Lindner's Little Gallery as well as the art institute and academys of Chicago and Philadelphia. As a WPA painter in 1933, Ora was commissioned to paint the mural "Dominance Of The City" for the Cleveland Public Library.
