This carpet has the distinct geometric designs, which is of the Caucasus mountain region. Main colors include cranberry red, three shades of blue, orange and ivory. Geometric stars, flowers and four birds are within a stylized border of alternating stars. The warp and weft threads are brown wool. Original Kilim ends. Apprx 7'3" x 6', this was made in Pakistan, c. last quarter of the 20th century.
