434. Five Various Egg Shaped Tabatieres
Small gold egg has hand-painted flowers near top. This piece measures apprx 2-1/4" x 1-3/4". Marked on the interior "Handmade in Austria Email Studio Steinbock, Hermine". Measures apprx 2-1/2" H. Blue glass egg has been painted with gold geometric and floral designs. It is verso marked "Created in Japan, especially for Estee Lauder, Estee heirloom Treasures" measuring apprx 1-3/4" H x 2-3/4" W. Also included in this grouping is a cloisonne egg with a gold background and flowers throughout. The interior is blue and on verso is a stamp reading "made in China", apprx 1-3/4" H x 3" W. This egg sits on a small wooden base. The final egg is gold and silver with pink flowers. Marked on verso "Limoges, France, Peint." Measures apprx 2" x 3".

435. Blue Rookwood Plaque
This piece has "Rookwood" across the top, "Cincinnati" on a banner across the bottom and the Rookwood mark in the center. This plaque is flanked by a flowing ribbons. The front and he back are identical and it is verso marked with the Rookwood symbol and 1986. Blue glaze. Measures apprx 4-1/2" H x 14" W.

436. Claude Conover (American, b. 1907)
Mr. Conover was the Ohio Arts Councils recipient of the Cleveland Arts Prize in 1983 and he was a member of the "Cleveland School" which was first used by Elrick Davis a 1928 article for the Cleveland Press, titled "Cleveland's Art Pioneers Have Put City in Front Rank in Creative Field." This large vase features an overall matte brown finished with deeper brown accents. Vase measures apprx 20" H x 19" W. Signed "Claude Conover" on verso with sticker identifying a previous owner.

437. Art Nouveau Style Vase
A lovely Art Nouveau style vase with a gold rim and handles on either side of the neck. The body of the vase is mustard yellow with gold. A woman's profile, thought to be Rosetti, is surrounded by highly stylized art nouveau flowers on vines. On the other side are three larger, stylized flowers in shades of yellow and green with black and dark green stems. This piece is verso marked with an unidentifiable marking and partial signature. Measures apprx 7-3/4" H x 9" W x 3-3/4" D at opening.

"Miss Babbles, The Authoress Calls and Reads Aloud" and "She Decides to Die in Spite of Dr. Bottles" are the titles of these Royal Doulton "Gibson Girl" plates. Beautiful, vivid, royal blue border with centralized Charles Dana Gibson drawing. Copyright 1901 by Life Publishing Co. One of a series of 24 plates based on illustrations from "The Widow and Her Friends. On verso is lion and crown, Royal Doulton England mark". On verso of "She Decides...." is a "3-03" and "H" impressed and well as a stamp that reads "England".Each plate measures apprx 10-1/2" diameter.

A thick blue and white floral border frames this octagonal earthenware platter. It has a central landscape scene in shades of blue. This scene shows figures overlooking a river with a waterfall in the middle and a castle and trees on either side. Plate is verso marked along the rim "Ontario, Lake Scenery, J Heath" along with a blue "H" and "J Heath" impressed in the center. Measures apprx 12-1/4" x 9-1/2".
