221. Signed Marble Top Wash Table
A wash stand with a white marble top and curved back-splash on a wood base with two straight legs in the back and a third carved and shaped leg in the front, all on a wood base on padded feet. It is verso signed with a first name of possibly "John" and an undistinguishable last name followed by "Salcombe", indicating that this piece was made in Salcombe, Devon, UK. Measures 34-1/2" H x 35-1/2" W x 18-1/2" D.

223. Mother of Pearl Inlaid Writing Desk
A writing desk with a slant front with scalloped edges with gilt details. The central section of the top has a mother of pearl inlay scattered around the edge with a mother of pearl inlaid castle and bridge in the center. The base is also decorated with gilt design and sits on four square feet. When opened, a writing desk of green velvet with embossed floral boarder is revealed. There are additional gilt decorations around the boarder of the writing surface as well. At the top of the desk is a section with numerous compartments meant for writing utensils, paper and envelopes.

224. A Transitional Art Nouveau Style Lamp
The frosted glass shade is hand painted with three green bands, each with a central row of unpainted dots and a highly stylized pink flower hanging from the center. Each section ends in a triangular shape with a pink diamond separating it from the next section. Each diamond has three additional stylized flowers hanging. Shade measures apprx 5-3/4"H x 10" diameter at opening and 12" diameter overall. The base is metal with a painted patina and Corinthian silver top. Four arms support the base and has a pull chain. Base is apprx 13-1/4" x 7"W and base. Overall apprx 19"T.

227. Federal Mirror with Reverse Painted Tablet, c. Early-Mid 19th Century
A mirror, which appears to be original, under a reverse painted tablet. The scene is of a small white house with a red roof and fence on the side. The mirror and painting are framed by two beautifully carved columns. Overall the piece measures apprx 29" x 15-1/2" and the painted tablet measures apprx 7-5/8" x 9-5/8".

228. American Painted and Stenciled Boston Style Rocking Chair
A fine rocking chair, painted black and stenciled across the top slat with green and gold decorations also with deep red glaze highlights throughout. Additional green and gold details are painted throughout the chair, including borders on the seat, arms, legs and spindles. On verso of the seat "Erie, PA" is written in black paint. Over that 968/1000 is marked in white chalk.

A lovely drop leaf table of tiger maple with two drawers. The drawers have a subtle triangular veneer and two wooden pulls each. Stands on beautifully carved legs ending on ball feet. The leaves have rounded corners. This piece measures apprx 27-3/4" H x 20" D x 21-1/2" W, with leaves down and apprx 39-1/4" with leaves open.
