Black and white etching of Madonna, St. John and Jesus. Made after a drawing by Raphael by Hungarian artist Istvan Prihoda. Prihoda was born in Budapest in 1891. Title and signature are located in lower right and left corners of image. This etching shows a tranquil scene with Madonna, St. John the Baptist and the baby Jesus. Image is matted and framed under glass. Plate size is apprx 25" H x 17" W. Overall with mat and frame this piece measures apprx 35" H x 25" W.

A first state engraving on thick creme color, chain lined paper with watermark. Partially matted at lower margin, not affecting the image. Engraved title and names of five states and engraved Piranesi name. A bright and clear impression. Plate size apprx 18-1/4" x 28", paper size apprx 21-3/4" x 30-1/4". A Print-A-Month-Club print entitled "Woodcutters" is a linoleum cut, signed in pencil in the lower right, dating circa 1935. Richard's print was produced for the Cleveland Print Makers Print-A-Month-Club, an organization devoted to keeping the print market alive during the lean years of the Great Depression. The image size measures apprx 5" x 7" and overall paper size is 9" x 11-1/2"

Boris Aronson is a New York painter who is most well known for his figural and landscape works. This painting, which appears to be tempera on paper, is an abstracted depiction of a seated figure. Entitled "Deer and the Elements" in pencil at lower right of over mat. Pochoir is signed Grumbo in lower right corner. This pochoir depicts a blue deer amongst an abstracted landscape. Image measures apprx 12-1/2" H x 16-1/2" W. Overall with mat this piece measures apprx 21-1/2" H x 24-1/2" W. The artist "Gumbo" is very likely Woody Grumbo, an American printmaker. Image printed on cream-colored wove paper. His work is in the University of Montana Museum of Fine Arts Original Print Collection.

This is a scene of a sparsely furnished interior with a woman sitting at a table. Across from her is a empty chair. It appears that this woman is waiting for the return of her husband. Image size is apprx 10-1/2" H x 13-1/2" W. Image is dated 1913 in lower left hand corner. Overall with mat and frame this piece measures apprx 18" H x 22" W.

Leaf from an Indian manuscript. Professionally matted. Such manuscripts contained the texts of the epics, the Puranas and Sthala Puranas. Hand-written, the script is encased in a gilded border. There are four columns of script divided by one horizontal sections of blue script. All of the writing is in black ink. Diacritical dots indicate that this is a later manuscript leaf. Written in the Urdu language in the Khat-e-Faarsi style. Paper measures apprx 12" H x 7" W. Overall with mat this piece measures apprx 20" H x 16" W.
