231. A Papier Mache Tilt Top Table, c. 19th Century This tilt-top table has an oval papier mache top with scalloped edges and various shaped mother-of-pearl inlay for the border. Located in the center are three larger inlaid oval shaped mother-of-pearl pieces which would have been the highlights of the hand painted floral bouquet, tied with a ribbon. The ebonized wood stem is also painted at the bottom and ends in a painted papier mache base on three metal feet. Measures apprx 26" H table and 38" H tilted. 232. Contemporary Three-Shelf Lighted Etagere This etagere has a rounded pillar form with three levels of shelving, and a flat top which could also be used for shelving. Shelves are built around a working lighted core. Lights are concealed by a white plastic covering. Shelf is attached to a black wooden base. This piece could possibly be used as a bar.
