From the estate of Countess Michaela Almeida of Moondsee, Austria. Inlaid desk with pin line inlay and bronze dore mounts. Three drawers on one side and three drawer fronts on the other side. Bronze appointments at mid-center on the end of front apron panel and on legs. Desk top with inlay of armorial crest. Apprx 79" W x 39-1/2" D x 29-1/2" H.

From the estate of Countess Michaela Almeida of Moondsee, Austria. Ornately carved wood chair completely covered in hallmarked sterling silver. Colonial design and having ball and claw feet with cabriole legs and double bracket stretchers. Decorated with double headed eagle on the front with scrolls and repeated garlands. The back is chaised with a large sunburst and floral scrolls and decorations. Cushions covered in newer dark green velvet. Hallmarked on back and leg "POMA". Apprx 63" H x 25-3/4" D x 36" W. Seat is apprx 23-1/2" H, arms apprx 31-1/4" H.

from the estate of Countess Michaela Almeida of Moondsee, Austria. A white horse with brightly painted saddle and straps. Finely carved with open work on neck, carved teeth, complete with a real horsehair tail and glass eyes. The breast has been fitted with a wrought iron bracket fitted for electricity. Mirrored medallions decorate the red, blue and green decorative harness. Paint is not original. Apprx 54" T x 57" L x 15" W.

Archimedes inlaid scene features inlaid wood, mother-of-pearl, ivory, pewter and brass. Cherubs and shells with grotesque faces accent the outer sections of the panel. Made from a maritage of hardwoods including fruitwood and possibly walnut. Dates c. mid-17th century. Was originally a desktop, measures apprx 30-1/2" H x 64" W.

A beautiful mottled yellow and green Tiffany acorn shade c.1910, marked on the inside of the shade on the brass rim "Tiffany Studios New York 1420-25". Ceramic base is impressed "1051 Austria" and also has various hand written numbers. Base is in arts and crafts style in the tadpole form with a footed base and turned rim. The base was originally an oil lamp, which is now fitted for electricity. Shade measures apprx 14" D and overall 23" H.

A lovely carved oak settee in the Louis IXV or XV style with white silk upholstery. The wood frame is carved with floral decorations particularly along the raised top with swags of flowers in the center. All eight legs are also nicely carved in the same manner. The back of the settee is open and the floral decoration continues along the bottom of the back. Measures apprx 39-1/2" x 66-1/2" x 26". Also see lot 200.

Another Louis IXV or XV style parlor settee with lovely carved frame and legs with floral decorations and swags around the frame. Top of frame has a lower center and raises as it curves around at the arms. It has white silk upholstery and measures apprx. 37" x 77-1/2" x 25. This piece is very similar in style and has similar carving to lot 199.

This impressive wood and gilt vertical pier mirror was recently acquired from a prominent Cleveland estate. It is highlighted with gilt details around both borders and a carved gilt floral swag decoration that has been nailed in at both sides. Apprx 64"H x 28"W.
